Update on Medical Workshop

Very much like the previous 10 years, this year too I will be conducting 3 day workshop on Neurotology & Medical Audiology from 26th to 28th of Feb (Friday-Saturday-Sunday) 2010. However unlike the other years this time it will be in MUMBAI and not in KOLKATA. The primary venue will be the very prestigious SAHARA STAR hotel just adjacent to the Mumbai airport - a venue that does justice to the high tech subject of NEUROTOLOGY.

The objective of the course will be to orient ENT practitioners and neurologists on the latest technique in diagnostic neurotology like- ASSR, VNG, VEMP, TCD, stabilometry and other such modalities like ENG, BERA, OAE and also to update them on the our current understanding of the maintenance of balance and the consequent changes in management of the balance disorder patient. The best of international and national faculty including Prof. (Dr) Giorgio Guidetti, professor of Therapy and Vestibular rehabilitation at the School of Specialisation in Audiology and Vestibulology at Modena, Italy has consented to participate as faculty. Other luminaries will include Mr. Calloe Johannes from Denmark and Dr. Gian Mazzoni from USA. The best of Indian faculty including Dr. M V Kirtane and other such stalwarts will also be there to present their expertise. A special session on dispensing of modern digital hearing aids will be a part of the workshop.
